Appliance Repair Services Built Around Hewlett's Homes

KLS Co. is a locally owned appliance repair company based at 1800 Rockaway Ave in Hewlett, NY 11557. We work the same streets we drive every day, from the blocks near the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library to the houses across Hewlett Bay Park, and we take on calls throughout Nassau County, including Woodmere, Lynbrook, and Valley Stream. Our team is built around a simple idea: when a refrigerator quits or a washer floods a basement, the homeowner deserves a technician who shows up on time, explains the problem plainly, and leaves the kitchen working.

A lot of the homes we see in Hewlett are older houses and co-ops with appliances that were installed to fit tight kitchens and utility closets. Those installs affect how we work. Dryer vents often run long and turn in unexpected directions, and laundry rooms in older houses can have undersized drain lines or aging supply valves. Our crew checks those details before blaming the appliance itself. Our summers bring hot, humid stretches that push refrigerators, dishwashers, and ice makers hard, while winter cold snaps and nor'easters can knock out power or cause flooding that damages control boards and motors. We plan repairs with those seasonal patterns in mind, and we tell customers what we find rather than what is easiest to sell.

Our approach is straightforward. We give upfront quotes before any work begins, so you know the cost before we open a panel. We keep our repairs focused on parts and labor you can inspect, and we explain why a part needs replacing instead of simply recommending a new machine. Because we are available 24/7, we can respond to emergencies such as a leaking dishwasher overnight or a freezer thawing during a weekend storm. We would rather earn repeat business from neighbors who trust us than rush a job to close a ticket.
